Netbanx

NetBanx claim to be the United Kingdom’s longest established and most popular independent payment gateway. If you tell them you are a Mal's e-commerce user then you can claim their special discounted set up fee of £150. However you must stick to using the standard configuration the Custom Gateway setup wizard creates.

NetBanx currently works with all of the UK 's acquiring banks and can offer bureau accounts to businesses without an internet merchant number. They tell us they do not charge annual fees and processing rates can be as low as 1%.

SET UP

Netbanx is integrated using the Custom Gateway wizard. Login to Admin and go to:

Cart setup > Payment gateways

and select Netbanx from the drop down list at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to enter:

1. Your unique URL to the gateway, they give you that.
2. Select the currency you price in, see the list below
3. Whether you want to authorise and capture or just authorise cards

The term capture means: to transfer money from their card to your account.
