    Hi

I need to have clients upload a small file when they add an item to the cart. I can't seem to find a relevant thread and I understood that Mal's Cart provided this option.

This would be something built into your website. Not something Mal's does.

Hmmm... seems my post didn't get posted.

I was led to believe that Mal's Cart offered a file upload when placing an item in the cart.

Seems like it would be a two step process and the inevitable task of coordinating the form content will a file attachment and the ordered item with payment.

Do you have a method to suggest to make this a bit easier?

By the way, I spend some time on your rather comprehensive site tonight. It looks like you've been doing e-commerce for quite a while.

    What a small world!

I'm less than 100 miles south and west of you on I-94 in Jackson County.

Where did you hear about Mal having the ability for customer to send files? Whoever told you that is totally wrong. Mal's does have the ability to sell downloadable goods. Maybe they got confused with that? I plan on watching this post to see if anyone has any good suggestions for your file upload. I sell a photo DVD and customers need to send me a photo. I just have them send it to me by email right now. It works fine.

Email me from the Mal's Forms page and I'll talk you through the best way for you to do a file upload, it will depend on your server and pages structure.

Having trouble with a form or need one building?
Fast turnaround, but I do charge :)

Mal's Forms / Scripts and the syntax are here.
