    You set it up under customize / Messages and general settings and also put some coding in your product codes.

    Does anyone have specific instructions for this? So far I have found this from prior topics:
    1.) -Create a folder with thumbnail images [50x50], of your products.
    2.) -At your cart setup you will find a space where you are to enter the URL to the thumbnail images: http://www.whatever.com/thumb/
    3.) -This is the code on your buy now script: <a href="http://wwXX.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm?userid=XXXXXXX&product=Product+Name&price=100.95&thumb=/imagename.jpg&return=www.yoursite.com">;}

    QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS:
    1.) how do you create page http://www.whatever.com/thumb/ (my pages all end in .htm)
    2.) where do you place this script for the buttons? (below is an example of my button code)

    EXAMPLE OF MY BUTTON CODE:

    <p align="center"><font face="Arial" color="#FFFFFF" size="3">Brush</font><font size="2" face="Arial" color="#FFFFFF"><font size="2" face="Arial"> <img border="0" src="ima/5star.gif" width="55" height="8"></font> <FORM METHOD="POST" ACTION="http://ww6.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm">;
    <input type="hidden" name="return" value="www.medusasmakeup.com/mascara.htm">;
    <div align="center">
    <INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" NAME="userid" VALUE="XXXXXXXX"><INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" NAME="product" VALUE="Brush"><INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" NAME="price" VALUE="10.00">
    </div>
    <p align="center">
    <select name="product" size=1>

    <option value="Brush Set">Brush Set $35.00</option>
    </select> &nbsp;<br>

    1) http://www.medusasmakeup.com/thumb/ is not a page that you create. It is a location. It assumed you named the folder on your host where you uploaded your thumbnail pictures to "thumb." The images do not need to be in a special folder if you do not want them to be. It can be your normal image folder if you want.

    2) Put this line in your form anywhere between the form method and end form and change to the name of your image. <INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" NAME="thumb" VALUE="imagename.jpg">

    In this thread https://www.mals-e.com/viewtopic.php?id=18589&mid=18589&fid=2&pageID=3 theModmeister states he did an optioncart mod to do that. Not sure how he did it or if it only works in Optioncart.

    I would still like to know if there is a way to show a thumbnail in cart from a dropdown form...each item having it's own image. I spoke to the modmeister via email and this was the response so far...I still need help!

    "In your system, wherever the link to mals is being made, you are just going
    to append the
    &thum=imagename .... pretty strait forward, so when you have an option, put
    in a if statement or a switch clause in php.

    if option value = Eye Dust - Dirty
    than VARIABLE_IMAGE_NAME = /Dirty.jpg

    <a
    href="http://wwXX.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm?userid=XXXXXXX&product=Product+Name&price=100.95&thumb=VARIABLE_IMAGE_NAME&return=www.yoursite.com">;;

    Does that help at all? I use php as that is what the system I do
    modifications for is written in."

    any ideas??? anyone know who/where I can contact someone to pay to have this?

    The example you've been given Lora is for a single product, and you don't need any PHP to add a thumbnail image for a single product.

    You have a product with variables (colors) the product image can be sent to Mal's along with the product name, price, thumbnail, quantity and of course the variable (color).

    If you make each product unique, then you can send a unique thumbnail to Mal's.

    Having trouble with a form or need one building?
    Fast turnaround, but I do charge :)

    Mal's Forms / Scripts and the syntax are here.

    Thanks for everyones input. I finally came up with a solution for our site, which keeps customers on the same page when they click "add" for items that we have multiple colors of and then when they view cart, they see a thumbnail of the items and they hyperlink back to the origin page. So excited about this solution! if you want to see what I have done, this page is an example...
