    Hi all,

I'd like to show the cart content, and I tried this:
    http://www.malsforms.com/display-cart.html

I'd like to use the template option (I have a Premium cart) so customers will be able to continue to another part of the webshop without clicking on the 'continue shopping' button in the cart.

Will this work, or do customers need to click on the 'continue shopping' button before the webshop shows the cart content?

The reason I ask is because I don't see any content/totals displayed (everything is is still 0).

Got your template page you can show us?

Having trouble with a form or need one building?
Fast turnaround, but I do charge :)

Thanks for your prompt reply GT! I haven't set up a template yet, but when I put an item in the cart, and then go back to my website, the cart content and total are both still 0 (even after refreshing the page).

Clicking on the 'continue shopping' button doesn't help either. So I must be doing something wrong. And the question is whether this feature needs the 'continue shopping' button or not. If a customer needs to click on that button before he sees cart totals, I don't think that will work so in that case it doesn't make sense to look investigate the problem.

Have you followed to the letter my instructions on the display-cart page?

    Because my page works 100%.

Yes, I believe I have, with the exception of:

...and finally add to your form input type="hidden" name="nocart".

I tried that but when I click on the 'Add to cart' button, I am not taken to the cart but to the return page. So I removed that part...

If you want to go to the cart, you need a link as per my page:
    View your cart/checkout

You need the nocart input for the display to work.

Thanks GT, I will take a look again. Do you know if people have to click the 'Continue Shopping' button before they will see the cart content being displayed on all site pages, or will the content also appear if the customer doesn't click on that button after adding an article to the cart?

Marco, It sounds like you have something wrong in your display code. We cannot help more without seeing your page to see your code. If you are using GTs display-cart code customers do not go to the cart until they actually want to checkout so there will be no continue shopping button for them to click.

    Hi Debbie,

Thanks for your reply. What you're saying makes sense, and I think I had the wrong end of the stick.

What I have in mind is the following: when customers click on the Buy Now button, I want them to be taken to the cart (so nothing special). However what I'd like to show customers what they have in their cart when they are not in the cart itself.

Is there a way to achieve this?

    Thanks!
