Notification email oddness?

    Hey All, I just setup a cart for a new client.

    - paypal is the only payment method.
    - main contact on cart is the same email for order notifications.

    Client got a couple of orders - I noticed no order notification was sent from Mals. (I'm assuming client got his paypal notification)

    Anyway - I added manual payments for a minute & ran a test order & the email notification from Mals came thru fine.

    Is there some sort of option in paypal that needs to be set?
    Anyone else have this problem?

    I have other clients who only use paypal.. they get email from Mals cart & I have it sending me order notifications as well. Works every time. Just not with this cart. *puzzled*

    Update.. I just placed a test order while I had client on phone - used my paypal and as the customer I only got an email from Paypal - no order notification from Mals.

    so customer is not getting receipt & client not getting order notification.

    Could it be this particular server? Since I know other clients who use Paypal only are getting email notifications.

    any suggestions are appreciated :)

    One more update - hopefully this will help others making the same mistake as me ;)

    I just checked the box in the Mals admin under the paypal payments section to send IPN - this should probably work now.

    PayPal should make an IPN call to the cart to confirm when someone pays. Select this option if you want an order notification from the cart.
