I have used Standard shipping with Option 7, for 3 years now with no problems.

I am now trying to fine tune the charges by using Advanced Shipping.

I am assuming I can use Advanced shipping without being connected to UPS & the other Carriers.

Therefore I have set up 3 Zones using Option 7, very similar my Standard settings, but they do not make any sense whatsoever using both the Each & Band options - what actually are these ?

Obviously because I cannot get it to operate properly, I have re-set it to Standard shipping.

If anyone has mastered the Advanced Shipping set-up and is willing to have a look at what I am trying to do, please send me a PM, I can then email my set-up page for advice.

    Thanks in anticipation.

If you've been using option 7 then you should be using 'the band' in Advanced shipping. 'Each' is similar to options 3, 4, and 5.

If you were checking the units=price box for option 7 then select 'based on order value'. Note that 'noship' is not available for use with advanced shipping.

If not checking the units=price box, then select 'based on the total units'.

    Alan, thanks for your interest.

I have tried running it with 'The Band' and based on the 'Order Value' & also 'based on the total sum of units posted in with your products ', but the Price shown in the Cart is no where near.

This is what I have for my UK Sales.

The first 100 units are charged 1.9 each
The next 50 units are charged 3.7 each
The next 100 units are charged 4.1 each
The next 50 units are charged 6.9 each
    and so on.

With this form below. when added to the Cart it only shows 1.90 as P&P when in fact i need it to show 5.60

Use 'based on the units total' and change the table from
    The first 100
    to
The first 1.00 are charged 1.9 the band
The next 0.5 are charged 3.7 the band

which would give 5.6 as the shipping charge
