is it possible to limit the cart to calculate shipping only to one state if I want to have a site with exclusive things I can only ship in my home state?

Under Advanced shipping, links to zones, it looks as though you could specify use of a state list and exclude the other states.

Is the website dedicated to this class of products?

    Hi Alan,

No the site is for shipping all over the planet. I just wanted to start doing some exclusive products for local customers that I am limited to sell in Florida until I get a commercial kitchen to produce them in.

I think I understand what you are talking about. But I didn't realize that using the outside shipping calculator I am using limits me to every where. If there was a way to use both then it would work.

Thank you for taking the time to explain this to me.

My advice is to get a new cart and configure that cart for your needs.

Having trouble with a form or need one building?
Fast turnaround, but I do charge :)

Mal's Forms / Scripts and the syntax are here.

So GT are you saying to use a cart other than Mal's?

    No, use another Mal's cart.

That's how my old site was set up though and I was told it was too confusing when people put mixed items into one cart then something in another, they thought the first item disappeared when in reality they had 2 separate carts started.

I'll have to sleep on this for a while. Thanks though GT, I am sure I will be able to build on your idea when I least expect it and I'm not trying to figure it all out.
