    I am trying to set up a membership renewal system. Our web site determines the final cost, and we simply want to use Mal's for payment processing through Virtual Merchant.

    My first attempt is a hyperlink. My issues are
    1. I am using noqty=1 but the qty still appears and can be changed
    2. Can not allow those cart buttons for UPDATE or REMOVE
    3. Need to remove CONTINUE SHOPPING
    4. I would love to be able to pass the NAME and EMAIL on to Virtual Merchant

    I am also playing around with pay.cfm but am not familiar with forms. I am trying to pass the name and email as hidden variable. It seems that I must also send the address even though there is no shipping involved. This is what I have.

    <form action="http://ww8.aitsafe.com/cf/pay.cfm"; method="post">
    <input type="hidden" name="userid" value="xxxxxx">
    <input type="hidden" name="return" value="xxxx/registration/confirm.php">
    <input type="hidden" name="inv_name" value="Bob Smith">
    <input type="hidden" name="inv_company" value=" ">
    <input type="hidden" name="inv_addr1" value="123 Main st.">
    <input type="hidden" name="inv_addr2" value=" ">
    <input type="hidden" name="inv_state" value="ON">
    <input type="hidden" name="inv_zip" value="N0N0N0">
    <input type="hidden" name="inv_country" value="Canada">
    <input type="hidden" name="tel" value="123-123-1234">
    <input type="hidden" name="email" value="test@gmail.com">
    Registration Fee = $199.95
    <input type="hidden" name="qty1" size="1">
    <input type="hidden" name="product1" value="Membership Fee">
    <input type="hidden" name="productpr1" value="199.00">
    <input name="submit" type="submit" value="Buy Now!">

    When I press the BUY NOW button I get "Your cart is empty". Am I even close? Which should I do, hyperlink or the form? Your help is appreciated!!!

    Very close. My first attempt at pay.cfm too. Figured it was about time I took a stab at it. :)

    Your qty has size instead of value and your price is should be price1 instead of productpr1. productpr1 would work too if it was done in the correct productpr format.

    <input type="hidden" name="qty1" value="1">
    <input type="hidden" name="product1" value="Membership Fee">
    <input type="hidden" name="price1" value="199.00">
    <input name="submit" type="submit" value="Buy Now!">

    Thanks! This looks very promising now. I really was pretty close to having it right :-)

    Debbie Q, thanks for your help. I have one issue before we can go live and I hope you can help me.

    Our http post using pay.cfm results in displaying a page with the product being purchased, the billing address and a "Continue" button. This page is http and not https. When users access it they get a message about it not being a secure page. I do have the "use secured page for name/address" button clicked on under general settings. any ideas how I can fix this? My developer says if he tries using https in the call he gets an error.

    THANKS!

    Seems like it should be a secure page since you have the name and address page secure. Sounds like a bug. I would email Mal about it directly.
