I'm using the " character in the description of my product for measurements e.g.. 10" x 8". It all works fine and displays ok in the cart when I add the product to the cart from my 'buy now' button and view the cart at that moment.

If I go to the cart from my website using the 'view cart contents link', it replaces the " character with a.

If I then go to the same cart by adding another product, it all looks fine again!

I can't work out what's happening. Can someone throw any light on this.

    Many thanks .... Martin

Nobody else can either unless you give your URL so folk can have a look to see what your problem is.

That's the Shopping Cart details, it's the URL of the page that the Shopping Cart is on that is needed.

You are showing us a product code not your website URL. We need to see the whole product code to see what is wrong. You cannot use symbols like quotes in the cart description because those are used in html coding and that confuses the cart. You need to use the html equivalent for it " instead.

Thanks Debbie. Using &quot seems to have fixed it.

I didn't know much HTML before - I'm just guessing from what I'm reading on the Mal's site for the buy now buttons. I'm starting to get the hang of it though - a little bit!

    Thanks again .... Martin
