    Thanks for the advice GT

    I contacted Mal and the problem was that we had the old voucher system setup. Don't recall ever using vouchers over the last 12 years we've been using Mals-e but he was quite right.

    In case anyone else has the same problem, the solution is:

    Go to Cart setup- discount voucher settings -discount vouchers

    At the bottom of the right hand column, click on 'access old system'

    Clear the voucher code mask.

    Click Update settings
