Hi all, a newbie to this forum so please be gentle :)

We seem to get a big number of abandoned carts (cf/multi.php, ch/recalculate.php visible on Google analytics) but do not know how to reach out to these potential customers. I am guessing this happens prior to customer inserting an email address, is there anything we can do to obtain customer info in order to make contact?

I don't know the answer to your question, but just wanted to reassure you that everyone gets abandoned carts. Many people put stuff in carts to see what the postage is if it is not obvious on the site, I do that myself.

So perhaps make sure all the info they need is given on the site to stop that is the first thing to look at.

Many people don't like to register before ordering, if you site does that then maybe look at that too.

We recently did a poll on Facebook and overwhelmingly people said they did not want to register on sites.

Perhaps someone else can answer the technical question :-)

Life is too short to work 8 hours a day - thats why I work 16 :-)

If you could use pay.cfm, you can collect customers info...

Having trouble with a form or need one building?
Fast turnaround, but I do charge :)

Mal's Forms / Scripts and the syntax are here.
