    Is there anyway to prevent the links for my Mal's shopping cart buttons from appearing as separate listings in Google? I recently changed the price of some of my products, but if someone finds an older cart button link (with an aitsafe url) in Google, they are able to order the product at the older price.

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    Add this line to the head area...

    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX">

    Having trouble with a form or need one building?
    Fast turnaround, but I do charge :)

    Mal's Forms / Scripts and the syntax are here.

    Would that block search engines from listing my website's product pages? If so, I don't want to do that. When someone searches for my products, I want them to find my website, but I don't want them to find one of my old product links. Is it possible to tell search engines to NOT index only those aitsafe product links, while continuing to index everything else on my webpages?

    Search engines will either spider all or nothing, if it is in the HTML, they will spider it, unless you tell them not to - end of story :)

    My goal is to simply prevent older cart buttons from working. It really doesn't matter if people find them in Google, as long as there is some way to ignore or disable them. Can that be achieved by using Mal's link verification feature? If so, how do you implement it? I found this:

    https://www.mals-e.com/tpv.php?tp=27

    But it's not very helpful to someone like me who has no programming experience. Is there a better explanation for it somewhere else?

    Hi Cassie75,

    Go into cart setup and click on "Header, Font and Alignment," then add this to the "Header Message" box:

    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX">

    It may take a couple weeks for search engines to update their listings and prevent your shopping cart URLs from showing up.
