    Wow that's a long time for the customer not to clear their cache!

    You could include a page refresh in the meta tags of the page in question (between the head tags)

    example below would refresh the page every 5 seconds. (I tested it on zero seconds but it just makes the page blink a lot.

    <META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="5">

    Or, if you want to automatically direct them to another page:

    <META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="5; URL=target.html">

    Again this is set at 5 seconds, but zero works ok on this if you want them to be forwarded immediately. I have both kinds - 5 seconds if I want them to read a message that they are being redirected, and immediate if I just want them to automatically redirect.

    There are javascripts too, but I've never used one of those. I don't know if they would be better but this works for me in several places.
