    Ok I'm confused

    I am trying to create a drop down menu and have 2 options which have to be selected before you can hit BUY NOW button unfortunately it will not go through and I keep getting this response from the server:

    ERROR: Userid not found: "My user ID"

    The coding is:

    <form action="http://ww11.aitsafe.com/cf/addmulti.cfm"; method="post">
    <input type="hidden" name="userid" value="E313873">
    </input>
    <input type="hidden" name="return" value="www.motorbikebreaker.com/screens.aspx">;
    </input>
    <input type="hidden" value="1" name="qty1">
    </input>
    <input type="hidden" name="price1" value="49.99">
    </input>
    <select name="Bar Size">
    <option selected value="">Bar Size</option>
    <option value="7/8th">7/8th Bar</option>
    <option value="Inch">Inch Bar</option>
    </select><br />
    <select name="product[]">
    <option selected value="">Colour</option>
    <option value="Clear Screen">Clear Screen</option>
    <option value="Smoked Screen">Smoked Screen</option>
    </select>
    <br />
    <input name="submit" type="submit" value="Buy Now">
    </input>
    </form>

    I also want to use my own buttons but can't figure that out ither.

    Can anyone help?

    Are you sure ww11 is the correct server?

    Thankyou that was part of the problem now it is appearing in the basket but it isn't showing both options there is it possible to get it to show both values. example:
    7/8th Bar, Clear Screen

    <form action="http://ww12.aitsafe.com/cf/addmulti.cfm"; method="post">
    <input type="hidden" name="price1" value="49.99" />
    <input type="hidden" value="1" name="qty1" />
    <input type="hidden" name="return" value="www.motorbikebreaker.com/screens.aspx"; />
    <input type="hidden" name="userid" value="MY ID" />
    <div class="style24">
    <select name="Bar Size" style="width: 100px">
    <option selected value="">Bar Size</option>
    <option value="7/8th">7/8th Bar</option>
    <option value="Inch">Inch Bar</option>
    </select><br />
    <select name="product1[]" style="width: 100px">
    <option selected value="">Colour</option>
    <option value="Clear Screen">Clear Screen</option>
    <option value="Smoked Screen">Smoked Screen</option>
    </select>
    <br />
    <input name="submit" type="submit" value="Buy Now" style="width: 100px" />
    </div>
    </form>

    and is it possible to do the buy now button as an html tag and then I can use my fancy buttons lol :)

    Tom's advice is spot on:
    Do not use </input>. In XMHTL an input tag is closed like this:
    <input type="hidden" value="1" name="qty1" />

    Your bar size select should be:
    <select name="product1[]">

    Your colour select should be:
    <select name="product1[]">

    To use an image for your submit button:
    <input type="image" src="buybutton.gif" alt="Buy Now">

    If you follow his advice I'm pretty sure you'll be where you want to be.

    hih.

    Mals forms: http://www.tne.co.uk/2006/mals/

    Fast turnaround, but I do charge :)

    Edited: well this is the coding for the buttons I'm using

    <img id="img61" alt="Add to Basket" height="20" onmousedown="FP_swapImg(1,0,/*id*/'img61',/*url*/'Buttons/button6F.jpg')" onmouseout="FP_swapImg(0,0,/*id*/'img61',/*url*/'Buttons/button178.jpg')" onmouseover="FP_swapImg(1,0,/*id*/'img61',/*url*/'Buttons/button6B.jpg')" onmouseup="FP_swapImg(0,0,/*id*/'img61',/*url*/'Buttons/button6B.jpg')" src="Buttons/button178.jpg" style="border: 0" width="100" /><!-- MSComment="ibutton" fp-style="fp-btn: Embossed Capsule 2; fp-font: Georgia" fp-title="Add to Basket" --></td>

    and I usually use it with a hyperlink

    As an idea have a look at www.motorbikebreaker.com/barends.aspx and you will find the green buttons I'm attempting to use.

    I figured it out \o/ and thankyou for your help guys, in order to use the same style ibutton I had to remove part of the scripting leaving it like this:

    <input type="image" src="Buttons/button9D.jpg" onmousedown="Buttons/button9F.jpg" onmouseout="Buttons/button9D.jpg" onmouseover="Buttons/button9E.jpg" onmouseup="Buttons/button9E.jpg" style="border: 0" width="100" />

    I hope this helps anyone else who is having similar problems :)
