Tracey said: I've applied one VAT % rate to UK/EU and made the rest of the world exempt, using the shipping and tax cart options (have default tax and three shipping zones). I've now got the problem that one item I'm selling - a book - is zero VAT rated. How do I make this one item exempt from the automatic VAT calculation which I've set up in the CART for every buyer across all my three shipping zones? I can't see how this can be done. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Hi Tracey,

I'm a bit confused, you say that I've applied one VAT % rate to UK/EU and made the rest of the world exempt but then you say the automatic VAT calculation which I've set up in the CART for every buyer across all my three shipping zones

Could you please clarify which it is.

Mal is working on a program for adding a specific tax value for a product, but as yet it doesn't work for a zero value item nor is it available on all servers.
