    I want to put some drop down lists on my site so that customers can pick the options they need. Then, they should be able to click a button and it will add a product with the selected options to the cart.

    I need something similar to the setup on the right side of this page:
    http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=101&parent=60

    How can I do this with Mal's E-Commerce?

    I'm a complete newbie at this, and I don't really understand all this coding stuff.

    If the options do not change the price of the item you just use a form with each atribute named product[]

    <form action="http://ww#.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm" method="post">
    <input name="userid" type="hidden" value="12345678">
    <input name="product[]" type="hidden" value="Oceanmaster jacket">
    <input name="price" type="hidden" value="159">
    <input name="return" type="hidden" value="www.mals-e.com/support/help2.php">;

    <select name="product[]" size="1">
    <option value="Small"> Small </option>
    <option value="Medium"> Medium </option>
    <option value="Large"> Large </option>
    </select>

    <select name="product[]" size="1">
    <option value="Red">Red</option>
    <option value="Blue">Blue</option>
    <option value="Green">Green</option>
    </select>

    <input type="submit" value="Buy Now!">
    </form>

    Thanks! I actually found another post just now (I think it was by you, in fact), that linked to a site with scripts for things like this. I might try to use that.

    Can I ask how I would do it if I did need to change pricing with different options?

    Your best bet if the options all have prices is to use the price option script available for sale here. http://www.orderhistorysoftware.com/mals_scripts.asp

    You could also use addmulti and make each option a different product.

    Hi all, in reference to drop down lists. I don't want this, but i want a field similar to the qty field in my cart. Whereas the buyer enters a number that represents the colour choice. I don't want to have to enter script 20 times for each product. Is there a way to enter one script file that allows them to input a number. I hope this makes sense.

    Thanks.

    Remo it is best not to piggy back on someone else's thread. Start a new thread and maybe show the URL of your page so we can see what you are trying to achieve.
