As a helper I dislike this format - one line per topic meant a quick check was possible. The problem of how to start a new topic has been removed which is good.

And the Search (but not the advanced search) seems to use AND not OR with multiple keywords. A necessary update.

Your views on the above are definitely of interest!

I don't mind the view but the inability to post html code is VERY bad. Haven't tried the search yet.

It's more compact today although I'd still much prefer to have one line per topic.

With columns the information isn't cluttered with repeated column headings and the data, such as dates, is lined up for easy viewing.

Turns out the Searches are still dodgy.

A limited html test seems OK now but I see you typed /div with less than and greater than. Maybe it would work with <div> </div> - which is of little consolation.

P.S. That's OK - I'll tell Mal of the limitation.

It's a shame there has been yet another alteration to the format of the Forum.

Personally I prefered the previous version.

I also note that after viewing a Forum post, it does NOT show which previous posts you have visited by changing colour.

When posting or answering a post it does not allow a preview window before posting.

However since posting my reply, I find I now have the option of re-editing my first reply, as you can now see.

Why bad to me "inability to post html code is VERY VERY GOOD" HTML rarely serves any good purpose, it's bad enough in emails bloating them but please keep Forums nice and effiecent.

Wow. This came out of nowhere. Was there an announcement about all these changes that I missed? Takes some getting used too that's for sure. :)

Chris, Here in the forum we have to show people examples on how to do their forms and codes. This is why html is important in the forum. If we cannot see what they are using or show them what is wrong how can the forum be any use? I for one is glad it is fixed.

I like that the signature line is back. If it came back in the last version I missed it. Unfortunately the tips page that I used to like to have in my signature line is getting pretty out of date. Alan you should list your shipping page in your signature. I probably will be using your shipping page and GTs forms page. We shall see.

Well, once I found my way around the new Admin and discovered how to display order details there, it's not too bad really. I think it looks a lot more professional now and certainly seems much better than the last upgrade...so far... :)
