On going PayPal IPN problem

    PayPal have informed me that they are having an ongoing problem with their IPN system. The effect is that you won't get an email notification from the cart, the customer won't get a receipt.

    Check into Admin to make sure you haven't missed any orders!

    I will update this thread when (if) they tell me it is working again...

    We're getting e mail notifications for PayPal orders Mal. (we are in the UK if this makes a difference)

    I have been getting them just fine too. Wonder if it is server related? I am on ww3 and ww4.

    We're not getting the notification from mals but are from paypal (USA). The payment is in paypal but shows as unconfirmed in Mals and won't transfer to our store admin. We use merchant moms and quite a few are having problems so now we know why. Thanks for keeping us informed, Mal, we appreciate it!

    Likewise as of this morning we are getting the notification from Paypal but not from Mals. I note that Paypal IPN is turned off in my account. But I think Mals makes each individual order process the IPN differently. Either way its always worked before so Paypals IPN is not working correctly for me. We are in New Zealand

    Hi again. I have just had another order and confirm that this order through Paypal worked perfectly this time.
    (hope it stays that way)

    Hi There,

    I am still not getting an email to say I have an order and even though I get a paypal one to say I have funds when I login into my cart list in Mals the orders are showing as red 'unknown' - it's worked for two years so I am not quite sure what to do.

    Do you know if Paypal are still having problems?
