Need shipping help again. Here's what I'm looking at needing for this client -

The website uses a branded Option Cart system.

Right now, shipping is option 3 (set to 1.00), with the units set per product - 2.95 for one product and 3.95 for the combo pack. Client wants to add two zones (USA and International) or otherwise charge international customers $3 more for their entire order, not per item. I hope that makes sense. Can I do this? Client has a free account and is will to upgrade to premium if needed.

    Change to option 5.

    Domestic
    UNITS COST
rest __ 1 ______ COST is a multiplier so this is the same as your option 3 with cost per unit of 1

    International
    UNITS COST
    0.01 __ 300 ______ charge 3 for the first 0.01 of units value
    0.01 __ 2 ________ charge 0.02 for the second 0.01
rest __ 1 ________ charge the rest of the units value

A customer must select the zone in the cart before paying so your client should keep an eye on the selection. The zone is indicated by a number in the order information. In the example, domestic would be zone 1, International zone 2.

Thank you Alan. That would work except I failed to describe the whole shipping set up (was so tired last night!)...

Shipping for the individual product is 2.95 for the first, 1.00 for each additional
Shipping for the combo pack is 3.95 for the combo pack, 1.00 for each additional

Client wants this set up for the US, international customers need 3.00 added to their entire order.

Hoping to figure this out soon, I'm not having any luck on my own. It this even possible with the free account, do we need to upgrade to premium, or is it not even possible there either? Thanks!

Don't think Premium cart will make any difference.

The only way to do it properly would be a user routine, told how many singles and how many combos by means of the units values. Not my scene though the logic is not difficult.

Looks like you'll need to compromise - maybe charge the same for each and adjust the combo product price.

What do you charge for one of each?
