    Hello...

    This is Patrick.

As with many of the sites out there that "we" order from as consumers, upon checkout, the shipping rates are determined by our location vs. the shipper's location (zip code to zip code) Also, the rates are determined by the delivery method requested. (ground, next day air, 2nd day air, etc)

I would like to add this type of a shipping calculator within my Mal's checkout page that will produce shipping rates based on zip code & shipping service requested. What I know is that it's go to be determined on the pkg weight and maybe size.

How do I go about setting this type of shipment calculator up?

    Thank to all that reply.

    Best regards,

    Patrick

The premium cart has shipping calculators built in. You use a field called units to your product code to tell the cart how much the item weighs.

https://www.mals-e.com/viewtopic.php?id=2464&mid=2464&fid=2 offered some advice for UPS. I don't know any support for size.

But it may be easier now. Go to Admin / Cart setup / Tax and Shipping / Advanced shipping and you'll see some Help on the right, and assistance with setting up UPS and other services.
