ViaKLIX or Mal's error message- DECLINED - Your payment has not been approved

    My client is getting this error message when he tries to place an order:

    DECLINED - Your payment has not been approved
    It was not possible to complete this transaction.
    There was a problem with your payment, please contact us for clarification
    Please contact us if you have any questions

    So I tried 2 more sales, each time using a different card. Each time I got the same message. BUT, when I checked Mal's, the orders did appear and the charges appeared when I checked my credit card processing account. So I'm not sure whether other sales were not coming through or business is just really slow. In any case, the shopping cart should not be giving that message.

    He is using ViaKLIX as a gateway. I can't tell whether this is a Mals error message or from the gateway.

    Has anyone seen this message before?
