You need to add a nocart line <input type="hidden" name="nocart"> and the return value has to be the URL of the page that has the iframe with the cart inside.

Thank you for the advice Debbie but i dont think its a frame that i really want looking at it in a little more detail, i dont want the cart to appear at all until the customers go to checkout, i just want the item to be added to the cart once clicked and either stay on the page they are on or be directed to a page of my choosing. I have seen it done but the code that i need baffles me, as you can probably tell im a newbie...

Here is a link to the page so you can see what it currently does http://www.countryclothingcompany.co.uk/hanford.html

Then simply add the nocart line and leave your return value the page of your choosing. Make sure you have a view cart/checkout button on every page so they can get back to the cart easy to check out.
