hi there, i am using at the moment shipping option 6 calculated by number of items in cart.
I would like to use option 7 calculated by value of item. i am not sure if i am doing something wrong, but when i select op 7 and do a test there is no shipping being calculated.
please can someone help me step by step on how to set up op 7.
    cheers Erica

Have you checked the box in shipping setup that says... Automatically set units to equal the price?

Are you using the units field Erica?

Option 7: Calculated by weight or other value in bands
The principle is exactly the same as option 6 but is based on the sum of the values posted (with the units field).

Automatically set units to equal the price (shipping by value)

40 is fine. The UNITS column in the table has a maximum of 4 characters, including any decimal point.

I assume you are in the middle of converting. Your zone names still give a value whereas the price now varies.

    UK- REC DELIVERY 4-5 3.65
    can be 3.65 5.65 7.65 9.65 11.65.

    The values are increments
    UNITS COST
    40 ___ 3.65 ___ up to 40 is 3.65
    28 ___ 1.6 ____ up to 28 more is another 1.60 making 5.25
    51 ___ 1.3
    31 ___ 3.44
    rest __ 2.01 ___ over 150 (no limit) costs 3.65+1.6+1.3+3.44+2.01 = 12

If you want more rows in the table you need a Premium account
