    I want to be able to give a 10% discount on gift certificates.
    The typical discount voucher using the scode does not work.
    I also tried to do <input type="hidden" name=discountpr value="9999,.9"> but I can't do that either because you have to use <input type="text" name="gift_amount">

    Any ideas how I can give a 10% discount? Here is the coding that I do use for my certificates.

    <table>
    <form action="http://ww9.aitsafe.com/cf/voucher.cfm"; method="post">
    <input type="hidden" name="userid" value="B870029">
    <input type="hidden" name="return" value="www.howacoglasssupplycompany.com\gift_certificate.html">;
    <input type="hidden" name="tax" value="0">
    <input type="hidden" name="noship" value="1">
    <input type="hidden" name="scode" value="giftcert">
    <tr><td align="right">Gift Certificate Amount:</td><td><input type="text" name="gift_amount" size="2">&nbsp;.00</td></tr>
    <tr><td align="right">Gift Certificate for:</td><td><input type="text" name="gift_name"></td></tr>
    <tr><td align="right">Email address to send certificate to:</td><td><input type="text" name="gift_email"></td></tr>
    <tr><td colspan="2"><br><br></td></tr>
    <tr><td colspan="2">Any special instructions:</td></tr><br>
    <tr><td colspan="2">ie, tell me what you want me to say to the receiver. Such as, who from, what day you want me to email it, any special notes from you. Or let me know if you need it mailed (need mailing address for this), etc.</td></tr><br>
    <tr><td colspan="2"><textarea cols="60" rows="10" name="gift_message"></textarea></td></tr><br>
    <tr><td colspan="2"><input type="submit" name="B1" value="Add to Cart" STYLE="background-color:aaaa77"></td></tr>
    </form>
    </table>

    As you do not have a fixed price JameyLynn, I don't know how you can give a discount off something that doesn't exist.

    Having trouble with a form or need one building?
    Fast turnaround, but I do charge :)

    What about not selling it using the voucher code and sell it as a product instead? Using add.cfm and product[] and price

    Then the sales tax and shipping would kick in. (I think, I'll try, but I am pretty sure they will), Plus I would have to manually put in all the vouchers.

    I don't want to have to change to a dropdown choice for the money, I get certificates from very small to very large amounts, so a dropdown choice would be a mile long.

    Is there any way to say that the text value (gift_amount) is a number and that the text "number" value is equal to .9?

    I've built a script to do that for you.
