    Hi Martin,

    I would strongly recommend you switch to using PayPal Express checkout if you need to return the customer back to the cart after paying.  It has never worked well with PayPal Standard and, as you have observed, has become particularly unreliable over the summer.

    Hi, Mal. I have no idea how to do that.

    Here are the instructions I followed in the past:-
    After logging in click on the cog wheel "Profile" in the menu bar. .
    Click on Summary (left side of menu bar).
    Scroll down (left column) to Selling Tools
    Click on Seller Preferences
    At Website preferences click on Update
    Set Auto return: ON
    Set Return URL:
    Set Payment Data Transfer (optional) OFF
    Set "Encrypted Website Payments" Payment: Off
    Set PayPal Account Optional to Off
    Set Contact Telephone Number to Off
    Set "PayPal Express Checkout Settings" transfer payments: NO
    Click SAVE

    Now, on that last point I have changed it to YES and clicked on the Test button.
    That results in an error message as follows:
    The page isn't redirecting properly
    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
    This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
