I just had a customer change the quantity in the cart to a decimal value in order to get a discount on a registration fee.

He was supposed to log in as a member to receive member pricing, but apparently forgot his user/pw and was too lazy to wait for a reminder email?

Anyway, I thought it was odd that the cart would allow a decimal number as a quantity. I assumed it would take integers only.

Is there a setting that I can use to only allow whole number quantities in the cart?

    Thanks for your time,

Maybe go to the minimum order setup and set the minimum to 1?

    I'll give it a whirl.

But still, if someone ordered 2, that person could change the quantity to 1.5 or something.

For your products, only integers may make sense but what if you were selling material by the yard or diamonds by the carat (or karat)?

To ensure only integers are passed to the cart you can either make the quantity a drop-down menu choice or validate the value with javascript.

To prevent changes in the cart you need noqty - see Using an HTML form and Removing the quantity box.
