    Hi,

I have a Premium account and process payments through Authorize.net.
I noticed when a customer submits a transaction that doesn't go through, he gets an error message right away and this transaction never shows up in Mals order listing.
However, I had a few transactions that were declined by Authorize.net, however they did come up in Mals order listing with status "unknown".
Do you know why this happens?
If Authorize.net declines the transaction which initially seems to pass Mals, does the customer still recieve a confirmation email receipt?
What information does Mals varify when order is submitted? Does it varify the credit card number, name, address, or is it all varified on Authorize.net end?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think it means it was declined by Authorize.net

    No

What information does Mals varify when order is submitted?
Mal's only verifies that required field are filled in.

Does it varify the credit card number, name, address, or is it all varified on Authorize.net end?
All verification is on authorize.net end

    Thank you!

As a test, I tried typing in an incorrect credit card number and also incorrect address. When I submitted the order, I did get an error message from the shopping cart that my information was incorrect. Did this come from Mal's? Does it mean that it was verified on Mal's end?

    thanks!

It would have come from the processor.
